My nephew experienced it first person. Luckily, he is a careful and wary person and spotted the phishing attempt. I didn't believe it too, I wait and checked some forums right away after I received the email.

No, read what I wrote. This is their last stab at money. The money is frozen. They are not going to pay, ever. They are now stealing it from our e-gold accounts! I fell for the oldest trick in the book. Now I have to figure out exactly how they did it. The e-gold site is a phishing site- complete with SRK keyboard. I input my password and they emptied my account. I don't know how they bypassed the different browser/IP controls from e-gold, but they did. I'm still too angry to talk...

Of course they're using forwarding script (you put in your passphrase which will be automatically forward to "evil form" and the form will post it to login page of real E-Gold.
E-Gold though that this login really come from you with the right EG# and passphrase, after check the IP, E-Gold didn't recognize you, then E-Gold sent you the PIN.
If you put in your PIN (which will be recorded too by the form) and will be available for 15 minutes, the RF Hacker will empty your EG account.
How's that??? am I right?

I don't think so, because I waited about 5-10 minutes before I thought to check my e-gold account, which then prompted me for a pin, and it was then that I saw the money was gone. F*****g scammers... like we don't have enough problems already with scammer admins and such.
